Frequently asked questions
Direct answers to the usual questions.
Can I register myself?
No. Accounts are created by administrators after you contact us. That is deliberate: it is what lets a seller be confident that whoever reads their figures is identifiable.
Does my name appear as the seller?
No. A seller's name and contact details never appear on the public listing, at any stage.
What does "unlocking" a business mean?
Spending one credit from your subscription to see that business's full details. It stays open in your account afterwards and is never charged again.
What happens when my subscription ends?
Businesses you already unlocked stay in your account. What stops is unlocking new ones. We remind you well before it expires.
What is the red dot on some businesses?
The trade licence has expired according to the date on record. A green dot means it is current.
Are the figures audited?
We review what the seller provides and ask for supporting documents, but review is not an audit. Due diligence is the buyer's responsibility, and we help arrange it.
Can one account be both a seller and a buyer?
Yes. A single account can hold both roles and switch between them in one click. You cannot unlock your own business — you already have full access to it.
